Introduction
The Organisation named The Western Rural Socio Economic Development Organisation (WRSEDO) was established in the year 1998 at its official address at Henoukhongnembi Konjeng Leikai, P.O. Imphal, Imphal West District, Manipur – 795001 under the initiative of Maibam Kumar Singh. The organisation has registered under Manipur Society Registration Act, 1989 (Manipur Society Registration Act 1 of 1990).

Aims and objectives
(a) To extent education by establishing schools, hostel, vocational training institution in the remote and less privileged areas in the State.
(b) To promote self group for uprising of better Socio-Economic conditional and standard of living themselves.
(c) To promote and to develop yoga education.
(d) To organize Workshop, Seminar and Awareness on various discipline for proper interaction, Self-reliance, Self support, national integration, communal harmony and peaceful co-existence.
(e) To organize women group for collective responsibilities within micro-credit finance of banking knowledge for better improvement for them and also involved them in the rural development services etc.
Sections of the organisation
The organization, Western Rural Socio-Economic Development Organization (WRSEDO), Heinou-Khongnembi, Konjeng Leikai, Imphal West District, Manipur has been organizing the following sections for proper administration and smooth functioning of the organization.
